Donald Trump officially became the Republican Party’s presidential nominee this week. We’ll recap the Republican National Convention and discuss comments made by Republican state party chair Susan Hutchison.

Late last week, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray announced the city would divert funds and resources from the Neighborhood District Councils. What does this mean for the future of neighborhood districts and how will this change civic involvement?

Ballots are now in the hands of the voters for the Aug. 2nd primary. We’ll discuss Initiative 123, which could decide the future of the city’s waterfront, and Proposition 1, which asks Seattle voters to double the current housing levy.

Listen to the live discussion Friday at noon, and join in by following @KUOW on Twitter. Add your thoughts when you tweet using #KUOWwir. Audio will be available here by 3 p.m.
