Hey parents, families or teachers! Do your kids like to draw?
Invite them to enter KUOW’s climate-friendly drawing contest. Winners will take home prizes and may have a chance to discuss their ideas on air!
The contest is part of our series on climate change, The Burning Question.
How to enter:
Step 1: Imagine one way Seattle can save energy. Maybe it’s a new kind of building, train, boat, or whatever you can dream up. All ideas welcome. Get creative!
Step 2: Draw your idea.
Step 3: Snap a photo of the drawing and have the child’s parent or legal guardian email it to: pictures@kuow.org. In the email, please include: 1) a short description of the idea presented in the drawing; 2) the artist's first name and age; 3) this phrase: "KUOW has my permission to enter my child's drawing into their contest and to share my photo."
Entries must be received by midnight on January 31. We'll announce the winners on KUOW's Facebook page.
Please note: We may share your submissions on KUOW social media accounts or other promotional materials. We will not share your contact information with anyone, nor use it for any purpose other than communicating about the drawing contest.
