New results in the primary election hold more bad news for incumbent Seattle City Councilmember Jean Godden.

Godden remains in third place in District 4, and the gap between her and second place has grown slightly, to 269 votes.

First results tabulated Tuesday night had shown her 184 votes behind Michael Maddux in the race for the second spot in the November general election.

Rob Johnson remains in first place in District 4. The top two vote-getters in the August primary move on to the November election.

In District 1, Lisa Herbold has overtaken Shannon Braddock for the top spot. Herbold had trailed after Tuesday night's count.

It's a similar situation in the race for Snohomish County executive.

County Council chair Dave Somers now leads incumbent executive Jon Lovick by five votes.
