Starbucks claims to have solved the thorny problem of pay equity. At least in their current workforce. At least in the US. And this isn’t a final announcement, just a milestone in an ongoing endeavor…

Pay equity is hard, and it matters. Men still make more than women, white women still make more than women of color, and what people earn is moot if there are still major barriers to getting in the door in the first place.

MomsRising CEO Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner is optimistic though, and she joined Jeannie Yandel to tell us why.
