Bob is a passionate believer in unbiased fact-based journalism. He is a longtime KUOW volunteer because he believes that a fair and effective community must be based on a common understanding of real news. He is a retired commercial lawyer and wireless industry executive who has been involved in the community as a volunteer since his arrival in 1979. For the last 10 years he has been a volunteer and sometime Executive Director of a demining and development charity working in Vietnam.
Bob graduated from Columbia College and Columbia Law School. He and his wife, a retired Seattle primary school teacher, have lived in the Greenlake neighbourhood for the last 36 years where they have been keen gardeners. Bob is an avid long distance walker, cook and a student of history.
