Communications Manager

KUOW has an exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer.  This person will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy to help KUOW reach and acquire new audiences, leading KUOW’s branded content and communications strategy with particular focus on digital/email marketing and ensuring KUOW brand standards are applied to all internal/external communications.

Ideal candidates should have 5+ years’ experience in content marketing including email, social media, PR and media relations, and web marketing.  Candidates must show fluency with both the artistic/creative side of content creation and take a data-driven, analytical approach to tracking engagement and impact.  Familiarity with email marketing programs and CRM systems and experience A/B testing digital messaging and executing retargeting campaigns is required.

Aural Content Producer

KUOW has an exciting opportunity for an Aural Content Producer reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer.  This person will be responsible for developing and executing our audio promotion strategy to help KUOW more deeply engage its audience.  He/She must think strategically about how we can use our owned media channels (primarily on-air promotions) to drive deeper audience loyalty.  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working cross-functionally with content/programming, community engagement, membership, and corporate sponsorship/business support teams. 

Ideal candidates will have Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years’ experience in professional broadcast production and competency with state of the art digital editing software and inventory management systems.  Candidates must show fluency with both the artistic/creative side of audio content and take a data-driven, analytical approach to tracking performance and impact of spots.

Development Services Officer – Planned Giving

KUOW has an exciting opportunity for a Development Services Officer – Planned Giving. The Planned Giving Officer will develop KUOW's planned giving program with the goal of identifying, cultivating and soliciting planned gifts, while stewarding donors with existing planned giving commitments. Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills required. Must be detailed oriented, computer proficient and have demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks. Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience in a development setting or equivalent experience required; database use also required.
