Event Description

to drown is a new media installation that explores the in between states of being. Using the idea of sinking underwater as a metaphor, the aching slowness of light and sound that quietly unfolds and shifts produces a place that is at once both comfortable and unsettling. Inviting the viewer as a disturbance to the space, to drown acknowledges the disquiet that comes with having remained in a place for too long.
