Washington Healthplanfinder has rolled out a new series of snappy ads aimed at getting young adults to sign up for health care. To date, the enrollment participation for this group is still just above 20 percent.
Ross Reynolds sits down with actor, stand-up comedian and screenwriter B.J. Novak. The 34-year-old Harvard grad, known for his role in the TV show "The Office," has also appeared in movies like Quentin Tarantino’s "Inglourious Basterds" and most recently, "Saving Mr. Banks." Now Novak has published a volume of short stories, short paragraphs and some jokes in his new book, “One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories."
The ongoing debate about how to regulate ridesharing in Seattle seems to be coming down to a fight over numbers. The Seattle City Council is considering capping the number of licensed rideshare drivers but is getting pushback from the companies who thus far have been operating in Seattle illegally.

Riot police stormed the main anti-government camp in central Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, on Tuesday. They fought with demonstrators armed with clubs and wearing helmets fought back. More than a dozen people were killed, including five policemen, according to AP and the BBC.
Opposition leaders met late in the day with President Viktor Yanukovych, but left without an agreement.

Right before a volcano erupts, molten rock, known as magma, is moving around underneath the surface. New research suggests this liquid magma is very rare. That’s an important finding for researchers trying to predict when a volcano may erupt.
Geologists from University of Califonia, Davis, and Oregon State University studied Mount Hood and have found that magma is often too cold to move around so much. And cold, here, is a relative term.
