About Diana Opong:
Diana has been involved in radio and television broadcasting since 2000, doing everything from announcing and voice work, to co–production and traffic operations. While attending WSU, she worked as a part–time announcer at Northwest Public Radio in Pullman, Washington; this was Diana's first experience on the air in public radio and she loved it! After college Diana worked at KOMO AM 1000 as an overnight anchor and programming assistant. She also worked as a board operator at 98.9 FM KWJZ.
Diana is glad to have found her way back to public radio and hopes that you'll tune in each week to all of the wonderful programs and international news coverage that is offered. You can hear Diana on KUOW's second program service, KUOW2 91.7 FM Wednesday through Friday afternoons and evenings, and weekend mornings and afternoons.
